Re: [INFO] H-Hour

Apr 11, 2014

I hope these guys realize as socomers we are going to be very critical about this game. After a developer never listening to its community. Then throwing us away as if we don't matter anymore to take socom into a new generation of shooters. We have reservations of the look and feel of the game. I for one have fought for so long that it seems like a dream from long time ago.We socomers knew what we liked, knew what we wanted. Over ten years now and there is still some of us who would like that excitement to come back. We love being a "Niche" gamer!!!!

I know this game has a long way to go, I know now that the new engine should help the graphics and shading. So what we have is a game thats looking like socoms of the past but brought into the future. My only wish is nothing from Confrontation should be in this new game. Con was garbage and ""Never let Luisi touch this game in any fashion""!!!!!

Good luck SOF studio's IM patiently waiting to see this game...

Again, my biggest fear is if a backer comes in and states that for my ten million I want this which takes away from the classic core of the game. Thats what destroyed socom in the first place. Ole seth wanting the first person generation. David sears needs to understand not to do this no matter what. I know they need backing desperately in order to complete and publish this game. All I can say is be careful David.

Don't lose what we love about socom.

It will probably stay on PC as well since its not as popular as it once was.

It will be especially if you like a more adult like game. Socom is a game that has a learning curve to it. You have to master a lot of things to get good. For example, you have to master gameplay movement. The game will not move for you. So from running to diving, to leaning around object is you. Once you have that the guns have a learning curve. You just can't sit there and spray and pray. Well technically you can but will hit almost nothing. So that means you have to learn how to shoot with what ever gun. Once you have that. You have to figure out how to actually communicate with your team mates. This isn't a game in which you just run around without consequences. If you die, you sit and watch till the round is over. So that means you have to learn stealthy tactics. So this is just a few things about socom.

How does that sound to you?
