I just got home and reccieved a message from "LittleBigPlaya_J" with no title and it said to message it to all your friends and then redeem the code, I tried the code and it said it had a value of $50, i tried adding them to see if it really worked and it said they couldnt be added, then I sent it to my 2 friends, told them to ignore the message because I was seeing if he was really capable of doing this and attached the message, then I tried it again just now and it dosen't work, big surpirse, but it still says it has a value of $50

Im contacting sony now, anyone else recceived a similar message?

I have received that message in the past.  You didn't actually send it to two friends, did you?  Codes can only be used once, ergo, this would be impossible.

I would treat any email on the Network the same as an email on another service.  Do not trust someone you do not personally know.  There is spam on the network, and people do fish for information.  Be careful here as well.  Don't ever give personal or system information out here either.  I am sure you know all this, but it bears repeating for anyone reading this who may not know.

Be careful and have fun.

P.S.. As with most things, Sony probably doesn't give a *bleep*.  I wouldn't waste too much time notifying them.

Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!  Reading phhhhhpppptttttt!  Who needs it?

That is absolutely f'n hilarious.  I, shamefully did not notice that.  Funny, because that is when I got the message originally.

Oh, well, I still stand by my advice.

Thank you BRIT

Even though this post is old, this is just and FYI for anyone here. Any time Sony or any of the game company's (as in if your involved in a beta test or something) send you a message it will ALWAYS be one that you can not reply too.. So if said message has the reply button at the bottom its going to be fake.. Hope that's a bit of help and like I said just an FYI

Wow, you even handed out your email adress.  On a thread that is now about 20 months old.

My offer still stands though.  Send me $20.00 and I will get you a $20.00 code.  Send me $50.00, and I will send you a $50.00 code.

No Fees, act now! :smileywink:

Yes and you should always send back the messages. I've had lots that don't work but one time I got one that did give me $50.
