First off I don't think you can send vids directly from your PC via Wi-Fi to your PS3 (I may be wrong) and second you cannot legaly download theese shows for free...

I had some movies on my comp, I coverted them them put them on my Ipod hard drive (not through itunes).  then took my ipod and hooked it up to my ps3.  I got like 10 full movies on my ps3.   thats what I did for pics, movies, and audio bc the ipod holds alot

I know you can burn a CD or DVD with video files on it (but the video files must use the correct codec).

I don't know about that. You can however buy some shows from iTunes.

but Itunes dont lets you put your music or video anything else.  I think its only good for 4 computers, and 4 ipod.  and Itunes need to know what computers.  and bc you cant run itunes on the ps3 I dont think it will work.  I could be wrong but I think its something like that.

Re: How to send videos to you ps3 from your pc?

I usually just copy videos from my media server, or, I transfer them through removable media, in my case, my iPod.
