How to log into psn account after a data transfer?

4 replies 68 views Edited Jan 2, 2012

Hey guys,

I was just wondering how to log into PSN after doing a full data transfer. I've transferred all my information from a 60 gb to a 320 gb and after that I tried to log in and it won't let me. I get the message "You cannot log in using another user's sign in ID (e-mail address)". I've deactivated all the accounts associated with my ps3 and it still denies me access. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you have to create a new user, call it your old name, sign in to it, then go to "sign up for the psn", clic the box that says "use existing account", put in your original email and password, and there you go.

not sure what you mean.

you can redownload and play anything you purchaced in the "my downloads" list in the ps-store.

and all your disc based game will function as normal.
