How to hear and be heard on a multiplayer game.

8 replies 92 views Edited Dec 31, 2012

I have a question and if anyone has a solution or response I would greatly appreciate it. I'm trying to figure out how I'm able to play a multiplayer on my PS3 where me and the people in front of my TV are able to both talk to and hear someone at a different location. We play COD2 as a group and would like to be able to communicate with one another. I know I can't connect more than one bluetooth headset, but is there some kind of mic that can be connected to the PS3 so that we all can be heard and hear our teammates?

So if I'm playing COD Black Ops 2 and I connect at PS Eye, it will pick up the voices of the people at my place and we will hear the other people on our team? I don't know why I thought the PS Eye was only compatible with a PS Eye game.

The PSEye has a built in microphone. They'll hear everyone. They'll also hear the sound coming from your TV. An echo of themselves. You can fix that in the settings though I'm told.

how about each person has their own mic?

Bluetooth mics are cheap these days.

Or how about headsets?

What I got from OP is that him and his friends to a sort of LAN party, each having their own PS3 and display to play on.
