Tasty on the eyeballs going through all them items! Definately needs fixing. Maybe have different tabs (1 demos, 2 full-games, 3 videos etc etc)

Bumping old thread.. same problem here. My Playstation store -> Download list is full of old downloads. And when I add new one from Store it is difficult to find it from middle of the list to actually download it since there is no way to tell if item is already downloaded or not.. really bad UI design. 

Store download list used to show only new downloads and had "Download all" button but it disappeared when I downloaded first paid game.

So i recently filled up my hard drive with downloaded content and had to delete some older games for the newer ones. When i went back and tried to find an older game i wanted to download again it took me quite a while of sorting through free demos and extra content. If there isn't a way to delete things from the download list there should at least be a modification to organize it. it makes me hesitant to download anymore cause its getting difficult to find what i want in my massive download list. i would have thought this would be a larger issue to more people.

I have exactly this same problem. I have a list of 47 game demo downloads, and cannot tell which I have downloaded and which I haven't. I have installed a few of the games, and have deleted them, but they are still in the list, and I just want to tidy it up.

This seems to be a pretty poor oversight.

I don't want a download list of 100's of items in the future, I like things tidy.

Someone at Playstation should change this.

Old post but I searched out the topic specifically and found this so here goes my rant;

I have had my playstation for going on two years now, I have 120 items in my download list. When I started playing I thought being able to download demos was the 'best thing ever!'.  Of the first 30 or so demo downloads, turns out about half were for psp (I don't own a psp lol) and a large majority of the others were just horrible.  I've been a PS+ member for about a month now, I download interesting looking avatars and games when they come out, so I'm expecting 120 items to turn into 200+ easily over the next year.  Last week I did a reformat thing, I got my little brothers got their own ps3 for a birthday so I don't have to bring mine over there every time i visit, so I wanted to take everything off the hardrive and kind of reestablish it as my own.

Well it is nice to have all those old things I never want to see again clogging up my list *sarcasm* You would think at the very least if they don't want to give you the option to remove demos/free items, maybe they could turn the one master list into a few different categories like they do on the PS Store.

That would be a great idea.Have tabs for each item.Like Demos,Games,Themes and advatar pics..etc etc..so you can find things faster

The download list needs improvements.  Sony if you are monitoring work in some sort of filter or sorting options within the download list.  Since I created my PSN account in 2006 I have downloaded nearly 900 items.  Recently my original PS3 bit the dust.  Now that I have purchased a new PS3 I want to go back and re download some of my past purchases.  The problem is this list is over 900 items long.  in the last 6 years I canont remember exactly which items I purchased, got with PS plus, or just downloaded as demos.  This really needs some attention.

PLEASE, Sony.  Please add some kind of organization UI to the download list.

Since becoming a PS Plus member my list has grown to over 600! I just bought a 2nd PS3 for my home and am pulling my hair out trying to find the things I want to download.  It takes too much time to look through the whole list to find what you want.

Also, if you purchase a new game and mess up and don't download it immediately, you have to go back to the download list to get it.  BUT, it doesn't necessarily show up at the to of the list. ?!?  It is a real PITA.

Please fix this Sony.  You caused the problem by giving us so much good stuff with PS Plus.
