This is odd. With 16 free gigabyes free and a 14GB R&C file unable to download, but a 5GB LittleBigplanet 2 file actually takes 5GB. Is it just a random number then on the PS Store?
I don't think you are understanding the concept here. Since you have more than 10GB of hard drive space you are able to download LBP2, with R&C you would need around 28GB free. 14 GB is needed for the download, and 14 GB is needed to install. After the game installs properly the 14GB download gets deleted so you have that space back...
Here's a picture that explains it better:

So then the PS Store SHOULD say "28GB required for download" because you tecnically do need almost 30GB free to get the game.
I don't agree. The download size is accurate for the game, and the larger amount needed is only temporary. This is how most downloads operate.
You just need to buckle down and buy a larger hard drive, that way it will be a long time before you have this issue again. You are at a serious disadvantage if you have a PS+ subscription and your HDD is under 100GB...

LOL, yeah right...
OK here is another method. Start erasing your other PS+ games until you have enough room to add R&C, and then add the other games back in. That is really the only thing you can do unitl you can upgrade your drive...
