This is something i have seen thrown around a ton lately and I'd be curious to get a feel how many Vita owners actually don't own a PS3...I can't even imagine buying a Vita and not a PS3 with all the cross functionality of the two. Still I'd love to hear from you and your reasoning for not having both (Outside of the obvious of being price prohibitive for some).
So you never use a Desktop PC? Or consoles at all? If you just purely prefer portable consoles i guess that would be a reasonable reason indeed.
Frequent Job travel is another good reason i did not immediately think of,The school thing also as i lived off campus when i went so i forget how small those **bleep** dorms can be at times.
Well, since I own all the below (taken from an old post of mine in Sept. 2012, so not up to date).
PSone ($300), 60 PSone games ($3,000),
PS2 ($300), 80 PS2 games ($4,000+),
XBox ($200), 40 XBox games ($2,000),
3 360's ($900), 125 360 games ( $7,500), fair amount of XBLA games ($ unknown)
Gaming PC ($1,800), Gaming laptop ($800), PC games ($ unknown),
2 DS ($200), DS games ($ unknown),
PSVita ($250), 7 PSVita games ($175), 6 PSP games ($60),
controllers/hd cables/HDTV's/steering wheel/arcade stick/Mt. Dew/snacks/XBL/players guides/game magazines/gas to get rid of Wife and Kids for the day/Gears of War and MK statues/memory cards/ and the list goes on (unknown value).
I have no need for a PS3. I bought my Vita in hopes of playing some games I can't find on Steam, XBox360, and the DS. I was hoping to get some of the games I used to enjoy on PS1 and PS2 with some I missed on PS3, without having to hook them all up to my 3DTV.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are a ton of exclusives I'd like to play on it. I just don't need it, with the backlog of titles I haven't finished already and I already have other games I'm looking at the moment.
