Folks, the only thing that would possibly let this user play the PS3 on their laptop would be a HDMI->DVI->USB adapter. Most laptops, even the highest of the highest end laptops, do not have ANY sort of video input, just output.
Hooking an HDMI cable up between the laptop and the PS3 is going to do nothing, unless on the off chance the laptop has an input, which I seriously doubt.
yeah, that laptop is not going to have a video input jack of any kind (hdmi, vga, etc).
What would be interesting is to see if there is a program to use the Remote Play feature of the PS3. Given the PSP can do it, and all remote play is a form of terminal service (what MS calls remote control with video/keyboard/mouse).
I'm surprised the protocal hasn't been hacked yet.
