How do I transfer dollars from one PSN account to another?

4 replies 1289 views Edited Nov 19, 2011

I have taken over a friend's PSN account.  He has $10 left on his account, but it doesn't look like there is any way for me to get that money back  unless I sue Sony.  Is there any way for me to use it for something to be deposited to my account?  I don't really want to leave his account hanging around on my PS3 forever.

The only idea I have so far is to buy Lockwood Tokens with it in Playstation Home and then give those items to me.  Any other way for me to buy credits, or codes for games, and then redeem them into my account?

No, you cannot directly transfer funds from one account to another. If you like Home, then buy ten bucks worth of Lockwood Tokens and treat yourself to the gift catalog.

I was wondering if it's possible to transfer 'indirectly', i.e. buying a code for a game and then giving it to me.

I agree with potato, this isn't possible, I think you're going to have to give up on the $10.00!
