the WPA-PSK key is a certain type of passkey protocol that your router uses.

you'll need that to connect to your PS3 wirelessly.

if you cant connect to the internet on your PSP, you cant use Remote Play.

dont confuse logging in to a wireless network, with logging into your PS3 via remote play.

I was able to sign in to the network my ps3 is broadcasting, even though I had 100% signal I wasn't able to get on the internet, so it's not working as a router. If u want to know how I got the password let me know.

Go to settings/Remote Play Settings/Custom Connection Settings.

from here u can change SSID name and WPA key to what ever u want. If u have PSP and u change this settings u r going to have to register it again to the PS3.

its not the routers password cause my router doesnt have any security on it. but theres still a password on my ps3. but does anyone know how to find your wpa key? reasons dont matter. by the way i know this is an old post.

The WPA key is provided by your router, not your PS3.
