How do I delete my PSN account

Well i have a question about how to delete my psn account. I cant use my psp to do it because it wont connect to our internet for some weird reason I don't know why but it wont. And i also don't have a ps3 anymore. So what im trying to do is delete my account on my computer but I have no ideal how to. Can someone please help me.

You cannot. You can have your account disabled permanently if you call Sony Customer Service at 1-800-345-SONY, but you won't be able to use that login or username again.

Is there a particular reason you want your account deleted?

Welcome to the Playstation Community.

You don't/can't delete an account / SEN (PSN) ID you just stop using it, it will always exist should you wish to go back to it at any time.

ahhh ok thank you. and to answer your question potatobreath (awesome name btw) i wanted my account deleted so i could make a different psn name yeah i know stupid but i just wanted another name so i could use that one on my vita

I have that problem. I want to delete my user so I can make a new user with one change, lowercase letter. But you just said I wont be able to make the same user. My name as you can see is NZInFlames. And I want to change it to, NZinFlames. One letter change and you can't even do that!?

Yeah, Playstation Network sucks like that. Everything you do is permanent. I'd like to change my name but I had to create a new account. You can't delete or change anything about your name. Why you can't, I have no idea. If the name is available, I don't see the big deal.

But, no, you gotta make an entirely different account.

Of coarse I want to delete this account, the psn name is "deletemeplease", I created it by accident, now I can never use my psn with my real email address, because my reall email is now associated with a "deleteme" name even though I've never even used this email on PS3. And I can't change my email to this one because it says, "This email already associated with another psn id" Dumb, real dumb.

well you need to create a name that you actually like. ive had this name since forever and i love it

Easy. Create a dummy email, change your psn email address into that dummy email. And activate it. Once its finish, just create a new psn id with your original email. Since it was unlinked from your old psn id, you can now use it for your new psn id.
