Technically, you didn't get a refund. You got a correction on a purchase. You bought a PSP game by mistake when you thought was a PS3 game. An honest mistake that SONY had no problem returning the funds back to your wallet.
In the op's case, he got EXACTLY what he wanted at the time of purchase only to find out later he could've got it for free. Or like another user said she got Burnout paradise for $30 when a week later the price lowered to $20. They both got exactly what they wanted to purchase. It was only due to the fact that they either realized or price changes on SONY's side that caused them to see that they didn't necessarily have to spend that money or could've got a better deal.
It's like cell phone carriers. They offer great deals for NEW customers but current customers are stuck with what they have or they gotta pay for an upgrade. And if the company decides to up the price of older plans, they gotta deal with it.
In SONY's eyes, you got what you wanted and due to other circumstances you want to be reimbursed something. If you got what you paid for the deal is done.
It's up to SONY entirely if they want to reimburse you anything.
But seriously, $2.00?! OP wants to **bleep** them out over $2.00?
If you're a online gamer you'll understand my next sentiment... I take SONY with a grain of salt every now and then because I'm grateful for a lot of their services. Especially the fact that online gaming is FREE unlike XBOX LIVE.
If you're not an online gamer, then go ahead and be that way.
