Is there a way I can make a Japan account and buy games from the Japan PSN? If so would my credit card work on it?

Mod Edit: Updated title to be as descriptive as possible and added Ask the Community label. Check here for more information. Thanks! - TheTwistedCanuck

Yes, just create a new account and set your country to Japan. No your credit card probably wont work. You'll probably have to import PSN Yen cards.

Probably meaning I have hope?
But damn, 'cause I'm getting sick and tired of hoping for PStar Portable to come to US if it even will.

Yes, you can create a Japanese PSN account and buy games from there.

No, you can't use your credit card, unless you live in Japan but you can buy Japanese PSN cards for the same purpose.

And if you do it, yo won't regret it, because you will get a free game (Mainichi Issho Portable), some exclusive demos (Gundam Survive, Bleach Heat the Soul 5, God Eater, etc...), free themes and wallpapers (from Ikkitousen: Xross Impact and other games) and the most important thing, the Japanese Exclusive games and their add-ons!

If you have any questions you can count with me.

To play Phantasy Star Portable 2, would I have to be switching back and forth between psn accounts. To play online that is.

Also, I just encountered a problem when I made the account I tried to login it with my PSP and said I can't login to 'someone' elses account.
