I'm recieving the same error message, but I am using a wireless router, it's a linksys router, and my IP address is 192.168.1.102

It seems like it's been hanging up on different parts of the connection test, it was like this when I turned my PS3 on earlier tonight.

All help is appriciated.

Btw, I also tried the previous methods to correct the issue and I was unsucessful with all of them.

Sign into the internet on your second wireless device,,,,  

go onto your ps3 go to network settings,

when it comes up on your screen before the IP select automatic and it should work

i read your reply to the ps3 error 80710102, i have the same problem and i have been trying to fix it for about 3 months now, are you sure this will solve my problem because i am about to do what you said and i just want to check before i try to retrieve my internet again so i can get back to gaming!

Yeah... this is happening to me (since I started using a wired connection) and I fixed it and signed back in... But every so often (every 10-20 minutes)  It will sign me out of the psn network. then after that I go to internet connection test and everything is succesful. Then I sign in again and it works for only 10-20 minutes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
