Help with playstation plus code

Playstation sent me an e-mail, with a promo code "Playstation Plus 30-day trial", the problem is when i try to redeem it says "A credit card is required to redeem your Playstation Plus 30-day trial," and I DO NOT HAVE A CREDIT CARD. what can i do? and why do they ask for a credit card just for a trial code? it's ridiculous

hmmm - i just got 3 free codes in my email - and i ahvent tried them yet - i do not and will not use CC cards on my account. will have to figure this one out

ok so i can buy an activison game-- call of duty and kill people with machine guns, knives and my fists
but i buy an activision game --- nascar inside line--- and i cant have a budweiser car because it promotes alchol ------seems kinda silly dosent it

I read the bottom of the email and the reason they want your credit card is so they can automatically charge you for three months subscription after the trial period. If you do use the free trial cancel the automatic renewal so you won't get charged after the trial period. Hope this helps.

Thanks GPT96, BUT the problem is that i do not have a credit card to redeem the code, and PSN asks for the credit card info in order to redeem the code

Same here I won't be using a CC for PSN, never, so why is it mandatory the credit card for something they are giving for free? it's ridiculous

The 30-day free Playstation Plus trial emails are real.

Nearly all trials have a mandatory credit card required to them,Plus Sony says in the email

*A credit card is required to redeem your PlayStation®Plus 30-day trial, but you will receive this trial without charge. Unless you cancel your subscription at least one day prior to the end of the 30-day trial,

"your trial will automatically convert to a 3-month PlayStation Plus subscription and $17.99 will automatically be deducted from your PlayStation® wallet according to the PlayStation®Network Terms of Service and User Agreement. This 3-month subscription will continue and automatically renew until you cancel it. You may cancel your subscription via the account management on your PlayStation®Network account or by contacting customer support at 877-971-7669.*"

They are telling people point blank,If you don't cancel a day before the 30 days is up that you are buying a 3 month subscription...Sure they can give a free month out but when they was hacked they did give out 3 months for free,To give out a trial for PP is pretty nice though you got to understand that PP isn't all that great anyways..Yeah you get free games but the thing ya'll have to understand is you don't get to keep the games..The only free things out of PP you keep are the themes and I do believe the add ons,Other then that early accress to betas,demos and discounts is all PP is about..
