I really need help. when i turn it on it says i must rebuild the data or that i most restore file system. i already tried both of them  the first time it happen i tried rebuilding the database and at around 48% it stopped and said something about an error and that i must reformat i restarted it and then it told me to restore file system and it got to 51% and the screen went black. Can anyone tell me what to do? I really don't want to reformat it and reinstall over 100 GB of data is any thing else i could try?

if you have tried all the safe mode options of restoring and rebuilding the database then that would be your only option left to try..

I had most of them backed up but not all but then again some is better than none i guess, my main problem is that i would have to reinstall over 100 GB of data and idk what to do if reformatting doesn't work.So should i do it or not?

i would boot into safe mode and try those options of restoring and database rebuild one more time and then if that don't work then thats your only option so in other words if those options don't work then yes you will need to reformat the drive..

huh?... data or no data it takes the same amount of time to format; formatng doesn't know or care about data on a drive.
