i play cod all the time but then i had to update again and it kept of stuffing me around ,soo i fideled with the settings ,i finally dowloaded the update ,but now i cant find my game ,non of my games work they work but they not showing up any more ,ive tired to reset setting dont work ,oh and it also has abc iview thing ,,

The same EXACT thing just happened 2 me. But N addition 2 the games not playing the icons R distorted. So if U find an answer let me know, if not I'mgoing 2 send it 2 Sony.

my ps3 just started acting up and it wont read ncaa11 or madden 11 but it will play dvd's. i called sony and they want me to send mines in but to look at it the want to charge me $178. Hell if i do that i might as well just buy a 120gig and keep my 80gig for $20 dallars more.

The same thing happened to me. I figured it out though.  This may seem weird but all you have to do is enter in any demo does not matter which. Then, ypu press the ps button and your game should show up on the screen. Don't ask how i figured this out. Hope it helps!!!!!

Report it to Sony in a message and it might send you a rebuild hard drive download

Dude i got the same issue but i figured it out. turn on your ps3 without the game in it. hold the eject button. wait until it beeps. put the game in the slot but hold it. Your ps3 will make a sound like it is trying to grab the disk. then let go and your ps3 will load the disk. It may take a minut but it should work. If it doesnt try it one more time.
