yeah GTA Online on the ps3 Has been Totaly D.O.A Since the patch went live in NA its seems to be working almost flawlessly on the xbox though

This sounds like a Troll post here to cause issues. Both are using same servers for online. Both have same software glitches. Im quite sure both are the same with the issues unless more PS3 game copies were sold than the box so were seeing more people online cause of this.

Both Globally and in the US, the X360 version sold more (though globally it's close, only a difference of like 200,000, thanks to Europe and the rest of the world)

GTA V sold like 5.7m on X360 and 3.45m on PS3 (in the US).

I figured as much. Its a massive game with a massive audience . Box is suffering from the same problems. I just updated my game took less than a minute. Im now online creating my character. Fells a little slow as my BR Drive is reading a bit but so far so good.

I havnt been able to get online either but few of my friends are. One  just purchased the tank I believe. So it is working. Just got to let them get the bugs out. Im sure when I get home tonight from work should be a bit better. I am sure Rockstar is working to fix what issues they are having as we speak. I remeber when Grand Turismo prologues was released on PSn. The vast people trying to get it almost killed the PSN. This was its first christmas out though and Sstem was only months old as well.

I've played MP3 since it launched and have had nothing but good experiences with it.

I've been playing GTA5 online for about 3 hours now with no issues.

This is normal growing pains for a game that has MILLIONS of people trying to get online at one time.... even if you have a multi-million dollar server farm, you're still going to have some issues.

Some people are having issues, others aren't. I'm just driving around picking up fast-cash for now with a friend of mine

Did you actually think the game would run perfect online the first available day?

if you answered yes to the previous question then i have a cone hat with your name on it.

I don't have a problem with issues with games. What I have a problem with is when I buy a product and can't use that product. Same thing happened with SimCity. Rockstar saw how many copies sold, they should have posponed the multiplayer. I can deal with an official postponment but when I siimply can't play the game I paid $60 for, that just gets me a little angry. So far I can't even play a solo online match because the first missions (required to complete) doesn't even work. Put simply, Rockstar dropped the ball on this one.

Doesn't matter if "they were not ready"..... they were not ready to make $1billion in 3 days, and following their news page they even said

"As mentioned last week, you should expect that there will be some technical teething issues in the early days of a new online experience especially one as massive as GTA Online – you can stay apprised at the Rockstar Support site here
http://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/200426246-GTA-Online-Launch-Status-Latest-Updates..."

Taken as a public response to their news post about the announcement of GTA Online:
http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/51487/gta-online-details-game-day-access-info-and-more...

Their "last week news" can be found here:

We had one week fair warning. Try not be an outraged gamer.... its becoming a cop-out.

Still no excuse, they had 2 weeks to get everything ready in time.. I would understand more if the online portion was released at the same time as the game, but they had 2 weeks. To get everything in order... And when the majority has a issue with even connecting then it's a major issue..
