Got a question about upgrading my PS3 Hard Drive

2 replies 24 views Edited Jun 15, 2012

I have a 250 Gig ps3 Slim and I'm upgrading it to a 500 gig HD.. And I dont have a external hard drive to back up all my memory from my 250gig.. But I do have ps+ and I was wondering does it work if I just upload all my game saves to the cloud save and then when I put in my new 500gig in my ps3 can I just access all my saves on cloud save and save them to my new hard drive? or do they get stuck on cloud save?

Waiting longer than an hour actually helps. Some people just dont want to answer or dont know.

But to answer your Question, YES. You can save ALL of your game saves to your PS+ cloud locker and you'll be able to download them to your new hdd. It will work for ALL saves, including the protected saves.

Heres the small catch, you have to wait 24 hours after uploading each particular save before you can download them from the cloud. Other than that, your right on the money.
