What? You don't like that design? That is from CNET of Asia. The Asian people should know better than us here in the west what the PSP3 is going to look like right? After all, that image echoes the design of the PlayStation Move Wand.
Seriously, I'm just excited for PSP2. That's all.
That is not the worst concept art however, it is far from the best. Just speaking from personal bias and my own vision of what the PSP2 should look like.
^ The concept featured in that video comes in at #3 on my favorite PSP2 concepts. As Ellen DeGeneres once said, " I really don't think I need buns of steel. I'd be happy with buns of cinnamon. "
Pretty much says it all.
Read the text at the bottom of the picture, it says "PSP II concept", AKA not the real thing. While CNET may a reliable source, without putting it into context, you can interpret the images that they put up in any way you like since there is no accompanying article that states otherwise.
Edit: This has got to be one of the worst concepts I've seen so far in terms of aesthetics. The whole gadget looks like two buns side to side (you can figure out why it's inappropriate on your own time), which might be pass for a toddler's toy from Fisher Price once you brush it up in blue or pink, but definately not up to par to compete with the sleek iPod Touch or the sliding PSP Go.
That's the ugliest concept I have ever seen. Looks like butt cheeks or testicles?
LOL. You guys are right about that. I never noticed that. Such dirty imaginations, most truly a mind is a terrible thing to waste!

It's about how the PSP2 will utilize mini Blu-ray disc. I pray the PSP2 won't cost $250.00 like the misreable PSPgo did. I've already got 200 dollars laid aside and all the rest is for games to play on the device which I guess will retail for about $39.99.
