Who cares? Everyone who's been on Live knows it had had its own share of issues. Outages happen too often on both networks. Plus, if that system was for a kid, I say keep them have it and keep the kids quarantined to Live.
Permanently left the PS Forums because of a trolling MVP and poor moderation.

I had a 360 for 6 years rarely had any issues.
But I've had my ps4 since launch and really haven't had any issues as well

Same for me on both accounts. I had a lot of issues with PS3 when I first started using PSN and have had very little issues with Xbox Live over the years. However when it comes to my PS4 I have not had a single issue with PSN yet. I must be one of the lucky ones.

No. XBL wasn't down for a month however the majority of the 6th gen was nothing but problems. Most XBots have only been using the service for a few years and certainly not in its first three years of service or the early days on the 360.

I also think the hardware failures on both the original xbox and Xbox 360 was a bigger kick to the balls than PSN being down for a month.

Agreed. RROD was a plague. My system had it. Luckily the fixed it for free and gave me a free month of LIVE for it, but it was stil an inconvenience and the rate for havig it on the original versions was way too high. Overheating problems on it made me go and buy another one.

I agree Microsoft and Sony does pay GameStop to push their products more... One month it may be pro Microsoft while another month it may be pro Sony...

It's business even companies pay grocery stores to put their products in a certain area..

It's not surprising that a Gamestop employee would try to push their fanboyism on the customers. If you want, you can speak to the store manager about that employee.
