Gameshare question?

[ Edited ]

I am thinking of gamesharing the "Battlefield 4 Premium Pack" from my good friend that i've known since i was small. I there a way to do this with out getting my account banned or suspended. Also, what are the steps in gamesharing on the ps4 (without getting banned or suspended)

Thanks in advance

But sony says you can do it

When you buy a PlayStation 4, you can name that console as your primary system. Friends and family who use the console can play any of the games you have downloaded from the PlayStation Store, regardless of whether they have logged into your account. If you have an active PlayStation Plus account, other users are also able to play online, even without their own subscription to the premium service.

As for “secondary” consoles (any consoles that are not registered as your primary PS4), you must be logged into the PlayStation Network on your own account to download or play games you have previously purchased. Up to two systems can be logged into your account simultaneously as well, and there is no limit to the number of systems you can use."

look on "sharing your primary PlayStation 4 system at home"

it also say "You do not have to log in to the system for other users to play these games".

So basically, you dont have to be on the same system in order for other users to play your content?

If you feel you can trust this person then do it. You seemed like you have made up your mind to do so anyway.

The issue is if you and your friend get into a arguement then your friend could go online your account and deactivate your system. Then change your password and ring up charges with your credit card if you have one on the PS Store. Happends all the time

Basically you are giving this friend control over your content and account.

Any purchases you make will be accessible on his ps4 for everyone. But only your account on your ps4.

So if you made a purchase at home, and your friend/brother/parent/spouse wanted to play that game on your system, but have a desperate save file on their own account on your ps4, they could not.

You will severely restrict your ability to have friends play your console at your house by doing this. They will have no access to your digital content unless they are logged into your profile. Because you gave all the freedom and access to someone else in the game share.

The person who owns the content gets the short end always in this circumstance.

This is not even considering the risks of your friend wiping out your store balance, stealing money from your credit cards listed ANYTIME in the future. All with you having no recourse to recover.
