If you want to save money when buying games.... get a PC and buy all your games on Steam.
I've bought Skyrim for $35 just a month after it released, among many other games that are HEAVILY discounted on a regular basis just a short time after its release.
Even Diablo 3.... retail stores STILL wouldn't lower the price near to what it was going on sale on Steam for just $9 6months after it released... Good thing I have a Toys R Us that price matches ANY online price, since I wanted a physical copy of it to give to my uncle for his B-Day.
YOU HAVE TO KNOW HOW AND WHERE TO SHOP.
Comparing prices of digital content with physical media will almost always result in physical media being cheaper. Physical media can be purchased from various locations, allowing retailers to offer competitive prices, while digital content is available from a single provider.
I'll gave you an example with:
Ace Combat Joint Assault(PSP) this game has a price of $39.99 on PSN
I was shocked because i wanted to buy it for my Vita at least.
And i made the comparison with:
Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, the game has a price of $19.99
I think that some games has to be cut-off the price.
I'm a little confused why that game is so overpriced and it's ridiculous for me to buy it that game for that price.
