Game purchase

3 replies 72 views Edited Apr 8, 2013

Hello, I was wondering, if you have a game already, do you have to buy it again to put it on your hard drive? Or is there a way you can register the games you own on the PS Store to download them to your PS3, or just so you don't accidentally buy them again.

Like, disc games? Yeah there is no way for to download them (legally) to your HDD. You'll just have to rebuy them

Not quite sure if I understand your question, but if you own the disc version of a game, you must purchase the digital version from the Playstation Store (assuming there is one) in order to have it on your HDD.

No idea how you would "accidentally" buy a game again...

Disc-based games cannot be installed solely onto a HDD, only a very small portion of the game is installed with the vast majority of it being played from the disc, digital games are installed 100% on the HDD, if you want a disc-based game installed on the HDD you will need to re-purchase it yes.
