GTA 5 PSN Issues?

12 replies 221 views Edited Sep 27, 2013

Just wondering if there are still issues with the PSN version of GTA V. I want to download it, but I've seen across the web that there have been loading issues. It apparently just doesn't run as smooth as the disc version. I know psn was down for a bit though a few days ago, so maybe it was fixed?

There are no issues with the digital copy of the game.

If you're worried about the digital copy, why not just buy the physical copy?

They are the same price.

As of today, there are still texture pops and it is worth the small task of switching discs. I wish I would have gone physical cause now I can't even return it. But it's mostly from my upgraded hard drive, according to the interwebs

I have the PSN version of the game. From play the game on the stock hard drive in my 120gb slim I stronly suggest NOT purchasing the PSN version. I have such bad pop in issues in my copy that I am shocked GTA V has not been pulled from the PSN store.

I have the digital version & the game runs fine for the most I mostly get pop ups if im driving really fast or when I'm exploring an area for the first time otherwise it's been okay for me. I guess it varies across the board for everyone.

Just go with the physical copy. Had no issues with it and can save the HDD space for GTA online.

Get the physical copy. You're really rolling the dice with the DLC version .

Not everybody has the money for an SSD.
