Free VS retail games

3 replies 221 views Edited Dec 24, 2012

"If you have already downloaded the game, you can still play them for as long as your PlayStation Plus subscription is active." [1]

If I subscribe to PSN+ and then my subscription runs out, then I won't be able to play the games that I got for free right?

But if I buy the games from their retail price, then I can play then until I get sick bored of them right?

How about the ones that have a discount?

Cheers

If it's discount, it's yours forever because you're buying the game. If it's free, you can no longer play after your subscription runs out. If you get a new subscription or buy the game you can continue playing.

I would like to add if you do buy a retail version of the game, your saves will transfer over, so you don't have to worry about starting over.

Feel free to add me as a friend. Just put "playstation forums" in the friend request.

Is this only for download or does it transfer to actual disk and cartridges.
