Flippable L1,L2 and R1,R2 controllers?

7 replies 1886 views Edited Sep 16, 2012

I am trying to find any controllers that can be set up to flip the function of the L1,L2 and R1,R2 buttons. I I would really like to have a controller that uses the R2 as a trigger (Fire) button for playing BF3. I did not realize there would be such a differance from playing on my Xbox and its controller over the PS3 and its controller.

Any help with what controllers can do this would be appriciated.

  Thanks

I know the voices are not real but they do have some good ideas!

I don't think there are any that do that. The swapping of the L1 to L2 and R1 to R2 is always just a setting or control scheme in some games.

Actually it's better that way because I feel that on xbox there is a slight delay between pressing the trigger and actually shooting.

As previous stated, a lot of games you can switch to L2 and R2 in the option menu to fire. I would advise to get used to it, once you do the ds3 is much better tha. The xbox controller.

Like stated above you will get use to it in time and there are a few games you can select different controller configurations. Just remember that the L1, L2, R1 and R2 buttons are also preasure sensitive in most (if not all) games.

this looks like a newer verison of the thrustmaster controller I bought some years ago now:

http://www.thrustmaster.com/en_US/products/f1-wireless-gamepad-ferrari-f60-limited-edition

it's wireless (dongle, 2.4ghz not bluetooth) and works for pc and ps3, and you can remap everything.

=)

Thanks anyway. I don't know if I ever will get use to it. When I go out shooting on the weekend I pull the trigger on my 1911 or my AR with my middle finger. Have always shoot like that. Especially hand guns. I think that is why the Xbox controller feels right to me.
