E-mail PSN friends from Computer?

8 replies 697 views Edited Apr 10, 2010

I got the Red Flashing light of Death. I am out of warranty and can't find my receit. So, either I buy a new PS3 or I try and fix this one. I saw on U Tube how to fix, but need the proper tools and heat gun. But for now I want to write to my friends in my PS Network. Is this possible to do? and how?

No, it's not currently possible.

It should be. That way you can keep in touch with your psn friends and so they don't delete you from their friends list.

If they use these forums you can sent them a private message.  If they have their account setup properly they will receive an email telling them when they receive one.

Just a thought.

That would be a nice feature. I tend to be on the PC a lot more than I am on my PS3.

Yeah, I was just thinking of this. You should be able to send them a message from the site that they will get on their PS3. Also, you should be able to check your messages on the site. Start adding new features to the PS3 and stop removing them. :smileytongue:
