4 replies 42848 views Edited Dec 24, 2010

H i,

I  have two ps3 controllers that go nuts as soon as you turn them on. one just keeps going left, the other randomly goes down and presses L1

Can someone please help me? This is strange behavior for such expensive hardware!!

OK here's a easy fix there's a small reset button on the controller on the back a small hole use a pin or something to press the reset button you should only have to hit this button once a year, only if needed....(^_^)

As if the analog is shifted left right? I had this problem in my Sixaxis controller, not sure how it got fixed... reset didn't work for me. But as the guy above me says, you should try resetting the controller.

I had the same problem. NOTHING I TRIED WORKED. Don't get a new controller. I found the solution. Watch this video.

also while you're in there, clean all the circuitry with a cue-tip and some rubbing alcohol. Works like a charm!
