Does PSN died after PS4 release?

7 replies 321 views Edited Feb 26, 2013

I have 12 levels worth of trophies.. (6 Platinum)... over 150 PS Store downloads (PSN Games, DLC's, Add-Ons... thankfully I buy PS3 Games by disk or I'd be screwed)... and a ton of friends. I've put alot into my account, and honestly, if all of that goes down the drain with the PS4 system, I'll consider buying an XBox 720 instead. And if the 720 allows you to keep all your gamerscore from the 360, I'll buy the 360 now and start building my account over there up. I'm not one who's a fan of my work and efforts going in vein, and my accomplishments, as well as all of you, who've accomplished more than I have and spent more $$$ than I have (and even if you haven't, but I have friends with 16 levels worth of trophies and above... that's alot of ******* gaming) shouldn't go to waste.

So what's the deal? Not to sound like a whiner or anything, but surely we can stop riding Sony for one second and realize how inconsiderate this is. For once I'd like for Sony to listen to the **bleep** fans. Microsoft is full of a bunch of arrogant pricks who wave their credentials and money around, but at least they listen to their fans and perform for their customers. Sony fails to do so.

It probably won't. Alot of people will not have enough money for a new console. They would still make alot of money off of games available off of the PlayStation Store on PS3. But Microsoft discontinued Xbox live on the original Xbox after awhile. PSN may go down on PS3 but then again it may not. And if it will go down on PS3, it will be a couple years.

Everything carries over. Your friends, trophies, etc. The only thing that won't work is the games you've downloaded. Also, don't exhume old threads.

Why was this bumped? This was posted in February, I hardly think he'll even see this.

the PSN will only be taken down when there are so little players using it that it would be no big deal
