How is it stupid? Having to make and use paper just for a manaul is stupid. Get with the times. You cannot lose them this way and they are always readily available.
I could go on for days why I think it's stupid. But my number one reason is because I like having physical things such as manuals.
I just bought Rayman Origins (new, shrinkwrapped) and opened it up to see no manual is inside despite having a tab to hold one in.
Do all Vita games come with no manual?
You know , I was watching a unboxing video on Youtube for Gravity Daze (Gravity Rush) and he had a nice think manual with cool artwork , Sony once again treating us like 2nd class consumers in the good ol USofA . Maybe they can charge less money by skipping the manuals . I got Gravity Rush, and it's a empty case shell + 1 game chip.
Reduce reuse recycle the way of the future get used to it everyone is going green. Game manuals are never really that helpfull anyway unless the game is really complicated like a RTS. I dont mind that the manuals are digital at all. I get wanting cool art work and all that as I collect records and even cd's seem lackluster at best in comparison. This is why I will probably never buy a digital download game unless that is the only format I can get it in.
