Well with them flying off shelves you have to wonder how many of these deals they have available. I think I read an article quoting MS as stating they had already shipped 3.9 to retail. Of course that does not mean sold but they are supposedly flying off shelves which to me indicates they are selling fast. And they have honestly done a great job with stock because I have been trying to find a PS4 (finally got one on Amazon) for a friend and all they ever had around here were One. I even called relatives out of state and they kept asking if she would rather have an Xbox One as they had those. Seems they are just getting them out so fast.
As for this deal I would rather trade in one of my 360 for the discount. I have 4. But, Titanfall is coming and my wife and I will probably play that with my sons. I only have 1 PS3 and need it for the games I have that I have not started or finished yet. Have such a huge backlog. No time currently to play most of the time as I am teaching my middle son C++ so he can work on a game with me. He is pretty far along and I am teaching him the math required to do some graphics coding. Sorry MS, PS3 has to stay.
Lets do simple math here.
and Xbox One=499.00. So you turn in your PS3 for a 100 bucks off a 499.00 product, dropping it down to 399.00. So you would have SFB if you think this is a great deal. Here is a better ideal. Keep your PS3 and purchase a PS4 and you lose nothing! And if you do turn it in, well you are a lost cause!
That's a little underhanded of Microsoft to convince someone to ditch their PS3 for their Xbox One. I'm keeping my PS3, saving $100, and buying the PlayStation 4 when I get the chance.
