I recently had the YLOD and I sent my ps3 to Sony and they told me to deactivate my online account which I did. Then a few days later they sent me a new ps3 and that doesn't work turns off after a hour or 2. So I rang them up again and they said to deactivate my account again and will send you another ps3. So I tried to to deactivate and it says I can't. So the question is does anyone know why?

Also if i remember correctly that site will only let you deactiavte systems once every 6 months. That may also be the cause is that you already used that site before to deactivate the previous system and now there's a time limit on it.
At least i remember something about a time limit in the past, but maybe they changed that.... not sure.
