Re: DNAS Error

Oh and I initially tried connecting with both a PSP 1000 and a PSP 2000.  I only brought my 2000 with me to work, so I can only vouch for the 2000 connecting now.

It's definitely some server problem.  Players of FFXI on PS2 will also experience the timeouts.  It's too bad, because I wanted to claim that free digital comic before December 17th, but you can't do it on a PS3.

Re: DNAS Error

I have the exact same problem with my PSP Go. I can connect to the PS store just fine at work, but I get a DNAS timeout error when connecting from home. No problem connecting to the PS store with my PS3, so I know my network connectivity is working fine.

I see some outgoing connection attempts to Verisign. Anyone else with this problem using Comcast?

I'm using comcast in both locations, but I work in PA, and Live in NJ, so the only way the problem could be Comcast based would be a regional issue.

I'm not on Comcast and I'm still having the issue. Just keep getting the DNAS server times out when I try to log into the psp store or my account. I had no issues with the store up until today starting at about 8 am est time. I can still browse the web using my psp go.

I have no issues logging into the PS3 store/ or account.

Same error here. I haven't had a problem at all, with this, until today. Now nothing related to PSN will connect from my PSP. That is, today, I can't connect to the Little Big Planet, to download levels or update my statistics, can't connect to the PSN store, do Account Management, or anything like that. Yet all the other Internet utils work.

Re: DNAS Error

Definitely odd.  I can connect right now, both to PS Store and to Combat Ops infrastructure mode.  Again, I do notice a drop in image quality for all the icons in the PSN Store, so I still think it has to be a PSN problem.

My connection issues were from last night at 10:00pm EST through 12:00pm EST today at home.  I'm fine at work so far, but I have the feeling the problem will return when I get home.  One other person on here has netioned being able to connect at work but not at home.

I've sent an e-mail to support, but I'm not holding my breath, since someone already called and got no info.

I've also tried tipping Kotaku.com to this issue.  You guys should do the same.  THey'll be way more likely to get an answer from Sony than we are, and the more tips they get, the more likely they'll look into it

Yep, I just tested out my copy of little big planet and can't connect to online in that either.

What the heck.

On the other hand, Japan just recently released Phantasy Star Portable 2 and it uses the PSN network, and has a download version as well. It's likely the 2nd most popular franchise on the system, over there. And while we don't see the same content in our store, it's still uses some services over the same overall network. I would be suspect that the bandwidth of that DNAS is pretty much killed from that. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better.
