The other thing too, is that you have to look at the people behind the different companies. Microsoft is an American company, Sony is a Japanese company. Their business sense is completely different. Yes, they both are pursuing money, but as far as video games are concerned, the Japanese see it as art, whereas MS most likely doesn't see it that way. The philosophies between the two are different, I'm sure.
I'm pretty sure most people wont care about how these two companies see video games as.....
Thanks Saviorsixtysix for the sig
That's it- tell them it's a ps exclusive if they did not already know. Then tell them that's how good all their games are- and they could be sure ND will be making a ps4 game.
Even though I have been a Playstation gamer since the original, never touched an xbox and only recently bought a 360 the one thing that makes it so I don't want the xbone is the cloud processing. If a game company makes a game that uses it, you have to play said game online. I don't want to have to rely on my internet to play a single player game. I will not do it! I will eventually get an xbone down the road after a couple years but will not buy a game that uses the cloud.
Microsoft charges around $1000 each update for a game. Games that get patched alot, are costing the developers big time.
You missed a zero..... Its $10,000+...... and CAN and has increased on curreng gen games for Xbox. Its not uncommon for a game like Battlefield 3 to have Dice or EA pay MS $60,000 for a new update, and BF3 has had MANY updates. So its really easy to find out that they probably have spent close to $300k in the last 2.5 years to keep just one game updated.

My friends that i have always played with want to buy the xbone. I'm trying to convince them to get the ps4 but they won't budge. Please tell me exactly what the better specs do and how it will affect the gameplay. I really need them to get a ps4 please help. Thanks!
No, you really don't. If you have friends that you cannot relate to without having the same hardware in your home as they do, I hate to break this to you, but: they are not your friends. At that point, they are simply people you game with, and they can be replaced.
