I know when you use a controller on a different PS3, you have to plug it in an then hit the PS button to sync it with that specific PS3. Well today I got my refurbished PS3, so I synced 3 of my 4 controllers with the refurbished PS3 by plugging them into it and hitting the PS button.
However, for some reason, one of the controllers won't sync up. I plug it in and hit the PS button, but the lights just keep flashing. I also tried it without plugging the controller in, and that doesn't work either.
himh well thats wierd it might be your controller why dont u give sony a call and see if they have any ideas cause what u said youve done and what i told u didnt work i cant think of anything else it could be
Yes, make sure that you use the original PS3 cable (it has the ferrite node on it) and not a cheap USB cable that you picked up for charging the contoller. Some cheap USB cables are ok for charging but they don't work right for syncing or data transfer.
Yes they do come with a warranty. But before you do that look at the bottom of your controller and you should see a small hole there. Use a paperclip too press this in (reset button) and try to synch your controller again.
