Content Manager Error connecting to PC

7 replies 958 views Edited Feb 18, 2012

I want to add music from my pc to my new Vita. The Content Manager Assistant is installed and running. The vita is updated. When I plug the USB into my PC the Vita does not recognize than my PC has the program installed and asks me to install CMA. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Have you pressed on content manager on the Vita? Once your PC recognizes the Vita which it will once you open Content Manager you then have to press content manager on the Vita to get it to work.

Even if you do get it connected, don't expect much.

It took me over 25 minutes to copy 50MB of pictures from my PC to the Vita.

I wonder if it works different for one BIG file as opposed to multiple (tens to hundreds) of little files.  I haven't tried single large files (except PS3 to Vita, which seemed to go decently for a 2 GB file) from my PC.

When i transfered all of my PS Vita games from Vita to PC it took a little over an hour for 14 games all around 1-3GB each.
