Re: Confirmed PSOne Games That Transfer To The Vita

Aug 29, 2012
Ok, here’s what worked for me (transferred through PS3):

1) Metal Gear Solid
2) Legend of Dragoon
3) Parasite Eve
4) Final Fantasy Origins
5) Final Fantasy VI
6) Final Fantasy VII
7) Final Fantasy VIII
8) Syphon Filter
9) Silent Hill
10) Tekken 2

Syphon Filter, Final Fantasy Origins, VI and VII have to have the controllers set to digital to play.

Here’s what did not work for me:
1) Final Fantasy V
2) Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee
3) Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus
4) Spyro the Dragon
5) Spyro 2: Riptos Rage
6) Spyro Year of the Dragon
7) Crash Bandicoot
8) Crash Bandicoot 2
9) Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped
10) CTR: Crash Team Racing

Can anyone tell me if arc arena can be transferred? Also, does arc 3 work or not? Some people say yes, others say no.

Update (8-29-12)

  • Added more games
  • Changed layout of the games. They are now seperated alphabeticaly like on my site.
  • Fixed Banner, Thanks Salesmunn for pointing out the error.
  • Thanks Fadi002 for pointing out that IGN mentioned the thread in thier Wiki. That's pretty awesome.

I think i was the one that mentioned THIS page on IGN.com's article.

Re: Confirmed PSOne Games That Transfer To The Vita

Aug 29, 2012

I tried Resident Evil 3 (copied to Vita from PS3) and the rear touchscreen functionality (seems to be L2, R2, and maybe even another start button) makes the game nearly unplayable for me.  Character either aims or the map comes up or it pauses and unpauses.  There doesn't seem to be a way to turn it off or adjust it, not even in the custom control screen.  And I don't want to go out of my way to hold the thing a certain way....

Anybody else having issues like this?  Or maybe even a solution?

Pretty disappointed.

Can someone confirm that Darkstalkers 3 actually transfers via PS3? I've seen conflicting lists that show it compatiable and then not compatiable.

Thanks!

I too feel the same way, the rear touch pad also has L3 and R3 button touch controls. Hopefully Sony can give us updated controls in the future via a firmware update.
