My favorite exclusive from many other great exclusives is "Metal Gear Solid 4". For years after the release of the ps3 and the release of MGS4, I played MGS2 and 3 over and over with an enormouse desire to buy a PS3 just to play MGS4 but, my family never had enough money to buy me a PS3. Sometime 2 years ago, I finally got my mother to buy me a PS3 and MGS4! I do not know how to even begin to describe my happiness at that moment. The ride to the store and the ride back, staring at the PS3 in my arms as if I were in a dream. Once we arrived home I set it up and put in MGS4. The huge array of emotions flowing through me I got when I heard the acoustic and saw Old Solid Snake was overwhelming. This franchise is the only one to ever make me shed a tear.
From the first step to the last, I was completely enthralled by this game. The amazing story, the amazing graphics, the similar amazing gameplay made even better. There arent much games that make me really care much about whats happening to the main character but, every time I saw Old Snake in pain I felt so bad for him. One part that just completely overwhelmed me and made me shed a tear was the final fight with Ocelot. Going through the fight with the most memorable music tracks in the franchise, with them changing after getting Ocelot down in health was an amazing experience. Then when Ocelot was on the floor and with his last bit of energy said, "You're pretty good" and pointed at snake with his hands, made me over flow with sadness, and joy.
Back when I was younger, I would play MGS1,2, and 3 over and over, always finding something new and feeling amazed at all the little hidden easter eggs in this franchise. One would think that these games are full of seriousness from left to right but, you would be suprised with the funny little things you'll find. Which to me, adds even more to the games replayability. With the recent release of the trophy patch, you can see what im talking about. One of the MGS4 trophies has you make Ocelot kiss snake in the final fight, and I would have never experienced that, if it wasn't for this trophy patch.
For these reasons and more are why MGS4 is my favorite Playstation 3 exclusive.

I'm not sure if this franchise is exclusive to Playstation, but i'm sure I haven't seen this particular game on any other consoles (Xbox 360, Wii, etc.)
The game is Gameloft's Modern Combat: Domination
Now I know this may sound weird, considering the multitude of exclusive titles out for the Playstation 3, but for me, this is one of my all time favorite game on the system ever since I bought it a little over a few years ago.
You see, I'm a huge Counter-Strike fan. Even way back when I was in college, I played that game till the wee hours in the morning with friends. So when I heard that a similar game is coming out (remember this was the time when Counter-Strike: Global Offensive wasn't out yet) for the Playstation 3, I was estatic! I was never into console FPS games (I haven't played Call of Duty or Battlefield, etc.) but with this game, I bought it in a heartbeat. Despite the change in controls, I literally sat down and figured every nook and cranny just to get the controls, something I would never have done on other FPS games back then.
After the initial learning curve, I fell in-love with the game. I played it far more often than my other games in PS3. The thing is, after the new Counter-Strike game was released on the PS3, I still prefer this game than CS in some aspects. Here's some of the reasons why:
In essence, this for me is one of the best games on the Playstation Store, and if you like Counterstrike or tactical FPS games, this is money well-spent in my opinion. It's so good, that I still play it upto this day, which is a testament to just how fun this game can be for such an affordable price. It may not be a CoD or Battlefield game, but it doesn't need to be. It's one helluva game through and through and for the amount of fun I got out of this game alone is reason enough for me to say this game has got to be one of the best Playstation exclusive in the Store. Hopefully they make a sequel if anything, I'd definitely get it. ![]()

SOCOM: US Navy SEALs from the PS2. ALL OF THEM.
This is the series that had me addicted to gaming, stepped me into online gaming, and made me a competitive player. It simply taught me to THINK while playing a video game. Not just run around like a moron.
Imagine giving a twelve year old crack. He tries some. What happens next? He's HOOKED! That was me with SOCOM: US Navy SEALs as a twelve year old.
I admit, I've been going through withdrawals the past several years, what with the "next gen" era of SOCOMs being nothing to truly write home about and the PS2 servers being shut down recently, but still, even with several years with less potent SOCrack, I'm still itching and fiending for more!
SONY, please don't let this historic franchise die. You're the hospital, doctors, nurse, medical equipment, and either Grim Reaper or Saviour of this franchise that's on life support. Make a SOCOM HD. Satisfy the SOCrack addicts further.
We've never strayed. We've done our part. Now please, do yours.
