Not that I'm gonna win with this story, but it's just fun to think back about all those years

It was 1995 and I had read about this new Playstation console coming out, and how great it was. So one day my then 18 year old brother comes home and he had walked past the toy store and told me they had it, I and how I just HAD to go down there with him because it was amazing to look at.
So I went down there with him and I saw Ridge Racer, the (then) Arcade quality graphics and the pounding soundtrack were amazing! This was far beyond any home entertainment to that date.
After a few play tests in the store I felt I was gonna do it, so I still remember to this day turning to my brother and saying:
-me: "I'm gonna do it!"
-bro: "wha wha what..!?"
-me: "I'm gonna buy it!!!"
-bro: "OMG OMG!!! Yeaaaaah!!!"
-me: "Yeaaaaahhh!!!"

The feeling of sheer excitement we felt is something we reminisce now and again.
My second Playstation experience was when I was 32. I had been living together with my then girlfriend and I had let go of gaming as he didn't like it and thought it was childish. I know you shouldn't do that, but hey... you live you learn.
So while I was with her an we had a fight I went to my patents place where my brother was still living, and he had a PS2. I knew I wanted me one of those!
So once I broke up with her and she had moved out, the first time in a long while I would be buying just for ME was my very own PS2! I was free

Hope you liked reading that as much as I liked writing it
