As usual, the next Community Spotlight is on Saturday, November 17th. Tell us stories about your experiences with the PlayStation brand (either consoles or games or both ). So long as the story pertains to PlayStation, you're free to write what you wish!
If you'd like to participate (and maybe win $50 to spend on PSN) go ahead and create a thread in the "PSN Community Meets the PS Blog" area. Write your little heart out, and then reply to THIS thread with a link to your story. (It should be a thread of it's own).
I'll review entries on Wednesday 11/14. Remember, only one person's story can be chosen and that person will snag the $50 PSN Store credit.
Take a look at some of the spotlight winners to get an idea of what it takes to make the cut. We don't want it to be too short or too long, but *juuuust* right.
If you win, you'll receive your codes for PSN credit via private message here on the forums.
They show you who wins every week on http://blog.us.playstation.com/ .They review the blogs posted to the comments below on every Wednesday before the spotlight date, that following Saturday they normally post who won the Community Spotlight on the website above
It really isn't a happy story, but it is a story we will all remember... On April 18th 2 years ago, The 2 days before the outage was and a day before three class games came out. Mortal Kombat, Portal 2 and Socom 4 came out which I went to the midnight for them. It was very fun with a tournament for Mortal Kombat and just fun to gather around with people just like you excited for their games. We had our fun April 19th with our games, offline and then the fun multiplayer on Socom 4 and King of the Hill on Mortal Kombat... But on April 20th we had the Great big bad PSN outage which lasted for more than three weeks. What I've told is a very sad but beautiful story that deserves the $50 PSN card... -OxALEXxO1151 <a href="http://us.playstation.com/playstation/psn/visit/pr

Hey this is not a rant its just letting playstation know whats been going on and we want to let you guys know that no matter what problems we have that we would never leave Playstation. Well let me start by saying that in 2011 right after the Portal 2 release, me and my dad Darthbizkit93 started having issues when the hack was over and we finally got our profiles back but they were switched and couldn't get into our profile well that wasn't the main problem after I called Sony and fixed my problem with my profile everything was fine but we had stopped playing for about 8 or 9 months and when we came back Darthbizkit93 started having really bad glitches in all his games but my profile would work fine. He still has issues currently but he has a hard time talking to people on the phone because of anxiety. We currently are trying to level up our profiles and are extremely excited about new Platinum trophies that we have not gotten before and we are extremely happy that Sony gives back to their customers so we are 200% loyal to Playstation because of everything. Darthbizkit93 will get his Playstation Plus back when he gets paid so we wanted to let you guys know our story.
Sincerely, natashab93 and Darthbizkit93
