Citrus Green DS4!

[ Edited ]

Well I just finished my second DS4.  Thanks to some advice from fellow forumers and elsewhere, I finally took the plunge and did my own. I would encourage everyone to try this, it really is extremely simple. I love the contrast with black and a splash of color, and it does not effect the original grip/feel whatsoever.  It looks a little glossy in this lighting but it is very matte in person, tried to get the best pictures I could with my iPhone.

I already want to do another one!

Thanks guys, it was lot fun.

As far as prep etc. I used Krylon Fusion for plastics on both, those you don't have to pre-sand (really good stuff). Take apart, thoroughly clean the face part, and I set it on a small cup on a paper plate. 5-6 light coats (at least 45 minutes apart) then let it set overnight. You can then reassemble the next day, but takes 5-7 days to be fully scratchproof.

It looks weird in this light, plus my phone camera kinda saturates everything. Looks way more green in person. This is the exact color.
