Caribbean PS3 user, how can I add funds to wallet...Help please!

16 replies 526 views Edited May 15, 2007
Hey all,
I've got a PS3 which I bought in Canada...

I live in Trinidad (Caribbean)

I want to purchase Tekken/CAC/Flow from the PS Store But I can't...

Now here's the problem.. When I registered my PSN account, my country was not* available so thus I chose Canada...

*2 months after, new countries were added to the list but still not my country...

When I try to add funds to the wallet... the credit card number is entered etc... But then it takes me to a page to enter the "billing" address on the card...
I can't enter the country because its set to "Canada"...
So what do I do??? Is it possible to enter a fake or made-up address and the transcation will go through without problems??? or do I enter my local address regardless of the country and it will work?

Or am I left in the dark til Sony caters for the Caribbean Islands

you can get prepaid credit cards that should work no matter where your residence: "Order yourself a prepaid electronic Mastercard®. There are no credit checks and you can use your prepaid card anywhere you can see a Mastercard® logo. This is the perfect solution for our international clients who may be declined credit card facilities within their own country of residence."  check out these sites

Thats not correct. If you get a pre paid card you still have to give a billing address for them to send you the card.. What he has to do is have someone that live in Canada or U.S. who is very trust worthy. That will let him use there billing address. But has of now the PS3 has not been offically released in his country.

Im the type of person that like to check things out for himself.. So Ima check out that link an Ima let you know. Im telling you.. Read the terms and agreement of the Playstation Store. It tells you that an billing address is require for varification. I just got myself a pre paid Master Card.. And guess what, In order to activate it I had to give them my social, and address. Think about it.. Where are they going to send you the card..
