Capcom: No plans for an MH on the Vita

7 replies 129 views Edited Apr 27, 2013

Of course, this could mean absolutely nothing. Since many companies always say they have "no plans" and then a year later, bam, they release a game.

Would be nice to see one though.

Eh, it's overrated anyway. Smiley Tongue I'll just support the other games that do come to the platforms of my choice.

Not my kind of game but I know a couple of people who have been waiting for a MH game for the Vita. Such a shame the Vita keeps getting left out.

While im not a fan of MH, I do understand that the series got us at least two more years of life from the PSP.

A Vita version that did something really interesting with near would be the biggest thing for Vita. Sony should just give capcom a free license for MH Vita. Itll get Vitas into peoples hands.

Yes, it's so overrated that the sole reason the PSP didn't bomb in Japan was because of MH3rd. I remember last year when around Feb ~ March a rumor about MH coming to the PSV after all got people all hyped about it. Just because it isn't coming to the PSV doesn't mean the game sucks. In fact, it's about one of the few IPs Capcom has that still hasn't bombed. It's our loss~.

The funny aspect is that Capcom isn't really in the best financial shape ever and yet they often enough decide to develop titles exclusively for one platform. When they randomly switch which platform receives their support, it gets even worse.

Well, at least it's no surprise that Capcom is always ready to disappoint and annoy. One way or the other.

What makes it worse is if its a DS/3DS game and they finally decide to port it over to the Vita, we get the water down Nintendo version. Its like there's no effort in trying to make it to the Vita full advantage. Look at the Lego series of games, we never get the full PS3 version of the game. We get the Nintendo 3DS port which is missing alot. I bought my wife ( don't laugh lol ) the Lego harry Vita game and PS3 game. It was identical but the Vita version was missing so much all because it was a 3DS port. But I guess that's how these things are.
