Just wondering if anyone has any games they were extremely excited for but were unfortunately cancelled/delayed indefinitely.
1. Star Wars 1313
Being a massive Star Wars fan and having seen the news about 1313 and it's amazing gameplay, this was my most anticipated title for a long time. Then, of course, Lucas had to butt in and say "let's make a Boba Fett game instead." Soon after, LucasArts died along with 1313. They are one with the Force now.
2. PREY 2
Prey was a great game way back when, and I was super excited during E3 2011 when PREY 2 was revealed with an amazing trailer and gameplay. The game is still "delayed indefinitely," because the game didn't pass Bethesda's quality control.
There's still hope for this game...I guess.

Of all the aborted games that come to mind, some out there I'm not exactly sure how far along the progress on any of these games went as to say they were cancelled or not (obviously some were). But of them, a few that come to mind that might have been of interest would include:
Heavenly Sword 2
The Legend of Dragoon 2
Fear Effect 3: Inferno
Well, personally I'd say Way of the Samurai online... however according to SEGA statements, since Yakuza restoration (Ishin) will be released on western country, I still feel for it, but it would be even be a better quality experience so not a big deal after all.
Not for Sony, but still sad none the less: Black and White Creatures. This game looked really promising and I was looking forward to playing it on my DS.
Just checked and it would have come out on the PSP as well. So I take back my non Sony comment in that regard. It got cancelled there too .

Pirates of the Carribean it was an original story, in the Pirates of the Carribean universe so it wasn`t connected to the movies, it was a huge open world game, which included your choice impacting how the game played out, plus you had sea battles as well. The game seemed to be pretty far in the development cycle as well, there was a good bit of trailers on it, but then Disney fired a bunch of people, which included the majority of people working on this game, and they decided to just cancel it.
I would of also liked to see that Highlander game get made, but it was cancelled as well.
