BR Drive Failure 9-25-08 (repaired by sony $150)

YLOD Victim 1-6-09 (repaired by myself $10)
BR Drive Failure 12-02-09 (repaired by myself $60)

Repaired over 100 RROD and 30 YLOD/Ps3 failures.

Yea I have one of these.  You can only use the wired Xbox 360 controller with it.  I like the fact that it has rapid fire settings.  I got my Xbox 360 controller to PS3 converter here.

no. PS3 uses Bluetooth. 360 uses some ancient way of connection.

PS3 uses an ancient designed controller. Not everyone has hands of a 6 year old.......

The amount of fanboyism in this thread is pathetic.

I have big hammer hands, and I've never had a problem with the size of the Playstation controller. There seems to be this feeling among certain people that if something hasn't changed, therefore it hasn't "improved". Or that you have to change something so you can make it exactly like everything else, therefore you won't have to decide if you like it or not. You already do because it's exactly the same!

If you get it right the first time, there's no reason to change it. If it ain't broke, don't break it.

This thread is dead as **bleep**, I know, but I had to make an account and come here to say this.

I don't care about your fanboy crap. I don't care that you think ps2/3 had the best controller ever. I don't care about what you have to say about my thought process, or anyone else's thought process for this. The 360 controller is the most comfortable controller for me. Period. It's not that I think it's a better one. It's not that it's got x amount of ergonomic features more than the ps3's. It's that it is more comfortable for me. Comfort is an opinion. I'm terribly sorry that all of you ps3 humping fanboys can't see past that.

Yeah, Bluetooth is almost ancient technology. It's a lot newer than xbox's rf frequencies, and Wii/Wii-u using infrared beams that date back to the NES.

I think you actually have to have something more important in your life going wrong than: people talking about the shapes of controllers in an unnecessarily heated way, in order write what you have. I'm sorry someone offended you. I'm glad that the shape of a controller can make you feel comfortable, happy. I like the playstation controller because it's the same as it always was. It's familiar to me. I know the design is reliable, durable, simple, and predictable. That makes me comfortable.
