Actually, PlayStation Plus is only $50 per year.

Even better, I already have 2 free games and some add ons just on my PS4 that covers that. My PS3 HDD is filled with free things from PSN Plus and I put a 500GB in side of it

So you're making that whole switch because of $4 per month. Ok. Enjoy your PC.

Dude cut him some slack. I think he would be able to afford 4$ a month, however, it's not 4$ a month, it is actually $4.16 a month. That's a big difference yo!

Re: Bye Bye console and PlayStation

I'm bewildered as to how anyone can dislike, let alone boycott, the PS4 due to PS+ being mandatory. Sure, I was dissappointed when I initially heard the news at E3, but I started to accept it since we get good deals, free games, and the ability to play fun multiplayer with my friends. My fondness of PS+ became adamant as soon as I played Contrast & Resogun - two phenominal games, considering the price I payed for them.

It's a pretty entitled & selfish attitude to boycott Sony for the necessity of PS+ for online play. In case you didn't know, Sony aren't doing too good financially; they're in grave danger. If the free games and online MP access isn't enough to sway your attitude, isn't it at least a little good knowing that, by buying PS+, you're doing your part to keep Sony from going bankrupt? It sure makes me happy.

If all else fails, buy PS+ only on Black Friday for $30/ year, so you're only paying less than $3 a month. Considering this month alone we get over $50 value in games, I'm very content with PS+.
