Bluetooth headset connected to the PS3 and phone at the same time

6 replies 344 views Edited Aug 16, 2012

Hi!

Does anyone know of a headset that can connect to the PS3 and a phone at the same time? So when I'm chatting with someone online and my phone rings, I can easily switch to the phone call and then back to the PS3. I'm thinking of the getting the Jabra Halo2 with Multiuse but I'm not sure if that will do what I want.

Thanks!

Well, the official Sony Bluetooth Headset does that. If you live in the US, check out Kmart if you can. They've been clearancing out alot of accessories and I snagged the newest version of the bluetooth headset for $20.

Got the chatpad accessory for $10 too.

Ooooo good to know about Kmart. Probably will go there soon.

By any chance, are there any bluetooth stereo headset that will do this as well?

That I'm not sure about. I think that stereo headset that Sony put out uses a wireless USB dongle instead of bluetooth. I can't say for certain about it totally NOT using blueray but I'm pretty sure it doesn't.

EDIT:

Looking at the video too, if you had a hot girfriend like that come sit beside you, you think I'm going to keep playing my game? Nuhuh.

You guys need to call the items what they are....

Either you're talking about the MICROPHONE or HEADSET

Headset I could see, but microphone? Those are in a lot of things.

I think the "official" items being described are *puts on monocle* "Wireless Stereo Headset" and "Bluetooth Headset". Those being pulled from Sony's own accessory list.

I understand that..... but nomenclature is not ANY companies strong suit.... they do tend to incorrectly name products from time to time.

One is an actual headset...... the other is a microphone ear piece. One delivers all audio, the other delivers only VOICE.

We're talking about functionality, and not technicality
