BlueAnt Q2 connection issues

2 replies 1792 views Edited Jan 5, 2012

I just got a BlueAnt Q2 to replace my BlueAnt Q1 that broke.  I use it primarily for my phone but also my PS3.  Never had a problem with the Q1.  I go to pair mode and on the XMB on my PS3 I register it fine but it can't seem to connect....anyone able to help please??!!  Thanks!

Addednum:  I also tried my wife's BlueAnt Q1 and it didn't work tonight where it did 2 days ago!!  Since the last time I used it I did get the almost yellow light of death whereI turned in the PS3, the fan went really fast, then the system shut off and the red light blinked.  Not sure if this has anything to do with it...

On the next screen Select Register Headset/Microphone/Headphones

v.

vi. On the next screen Select Start Scanning to search for your Bluetooth headset.

vii. When the headset has been found, follow the onscreen prompts and enter the

headsets passcode (refer to the user manual for assistance)

viii. Now that the pairing process is complete, return to the XMB and select Accessory

Settings

ix. From the Accessory Settings select Audio Device Settings

x. The headset should now appear as the audio input/output device. If a different

device is selected simply use the D-pad to highlight your headset.
